A B O U T  M E

Victoria Mintey,

Actor, Trainer & Coach

Victoria was born and raised in Northern Ireland. Since her lead role as "the naughty sunbeam" aged 4 she has adored the performing arts.

​

After graduating from the University of Durham with a Bachelor of Science degree, Victoria was accepted into Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts to study Performance and Musical Theatre. Upon gaining her Masters degree she took roles in theatre productions such as Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens (Chelsea Theatre), Me and My Girl (London Palladium) and had the opportunity to originate roles in new musicals The Attic (Theatre Royal Haymarket) and Speed Dating (Jermyn Street Theatre). Victoria was then offered a lead vocalist role with Royal Caribbean International and travelled the globe performing in a diverse range of on board productions and expanding her singing repertoire.

 

Victoria moved to Singapore in 2011 seeking new challenges and has relished the chance to diversify in her performance work and develop a sought-after coaching and training service. Scroll down for more!

Singapore Performance Work

Victoria works with a host of leading names in the Arts community in Singapore including: Pangdemonium, Singapore Repertory Theatre, The Little Company, Sing'Theatre, Buds Theatre, Mediacorp, Channel News Asia, Kelvin Tong.

 

In 2017, she established Wag the Dog Theatre - Singapore's first co-op theatre company. She has leant her voice to commercials for British Airways, Mercedes and BBC Worldwide.

Presence & Impact Training

Victoria combines her vast corporate role play experience with a BSc in Psychology and Anthropology, a Masters Degree in Performance and her ongoing career in the theatre industry, to offer her unique brand of Presence and Impact Training - bringing a fresh energy and performer's insight to presentation skills training. Victoria has an actor's curiosity for people and how they communicate and influence one another. This has seen her become a passionate coach and facilitator. Her workshops are designed to help teams and individuals hit all the right notes in business pitches and presentations.  Using theatre methods to help clients improve their confidence and presentation skills, and using role play for problem solving in interpersonal business scenarios, Victoria creates practical and personable sessions to equip you for any audience.
